Nomad Blood

I have been thinking a lot about buying a home recently. I think this could have a lot to do with the fact that my neighbors are not my favorites. I do not like garbage all over the lawn and I really hate listening to people scream at their children and play video games 24-7. Seriously, I would never change my ways if somebody were to constantly be screaming at me; I am sure young children are no different.

Anyway, back to the home discussion. I do not feel economically ready to have a mortgage payment. I also would hate having to do all the upkeep. (Mowing lawns, however, doesn’t scare me.)

Here is one of my dream ways to live: a big bus motor-home. I was riding my bike the other day by Utah Lake and saw many of these types of campers down at the campground there. I really have the nomad blood in my veins and with one of these vehicles; life would truly be a highway to me. I like this option because it would be cheaper than having a house. Also, I could just unhook and be on my way each summer. I could travel slowly across the country seeing so many things. It would be awesome. It also would be handy to make scams and then weasel out of town. Kidding, I am not like that!

With my luck though, I will be stuck in Provo for the rest of my life. SIGH.

This weekend has been fun so far. I got to play softball today. It was my team’s first practice. I will be playing every Friday night until I leave for summer. That makes me happy inside! It truly is spring and I am truly happy. Funny how I am always on this rollercoaster of emotions.

Last night I was able to see a friend’s art show and also see a movie that I like. 27 Dresses is awesome! I will also be seeing Leatherheads this evening. Stay tuned for the review!

I like weekends. Only one week of work until Spring Break. Yipee!
