Hodag Hunt

My Seester is in town with her daughter, Rebecca, and Rebecca's friend Adeja(sp?). They are quite a crew and do much better when we keep them busy. Today we went on a "Hodag Hunt." Basically, that meant we drove around to various Hodag statues in town. There are many for some artsy thing! If you don't know much about the Hodag(it is the mascot of Rhinelander's high school) you should visit this site:

It was a good time. We also hit a few thrift stores. I bought some movies. I am an addict.

I have not blogged much here this week. I think I was having a week of rest and relaxation. It is hard work getting into the grove of vacation.

Playing softball was a whole lot of fun on Tuesday. My team won, which isn't the only reason it was fun. I also got to meet a few of the new women on the team. We have a good team this year and the people are cool. I love coming back and playing.

I know you are all living in suspense about my tooth and what is going on there. Well, all the dentists in my life(there are two) think I should get a root canal. I have done lots and lots of research and polling and have come to the conclusion that with a tooth that is cracked my better option is to just have the thing yanked. My sister had some major problems with the same tooth and a failed root canal and my dad has had some bad experiences with post root canal stuff as well. I know that having a gap in my mouth isn't necessarily awesome, but I will be looking into an implant in the next few years. I just think that 1200 dollars for a root canal that may or may not work is kinda a gamble. So there you have the tooth story. I have to find a dentist to yank it and that will be an adventure, I am sure.

It does feel much better thanks to antibiotics. It does not feel good when I eat ice cream without thinking about not getting ice cream on that side of my mouth. OUCH. Maybe I am just eating too much ice cream. Wait, is there really such thing as too much ice cream? I didn't think so.

Sugar Camp Disc Golf Course

I have only lost two frisbees so far on this course. It is always on the same hole. It is evil. Don't worry, I do find the discs after losing them but it usually takes 5-15 minutes. I think I will be frequenting this place quite a bit this summer. It is very nice.

I also got my fishing license yesterday. I am sure there are some good fishing times to come soon!

I think the summer's theme (besides "The Summer of Fun") is that of Kelly Clarkson's CD All I Ever Wanted. I listen to it all the time. I have included "My Life Would S**K Without You," enjoy! My Dad hates the CD(it is in my mom's car and plays wherever we go!) I tell him; "No, I will not take it out. I am driving and I get to choose the music." I bet he wishes he never said that in all the years I was growing up. Haha. Mean!
