2nd Post of 31 Posts in May

Hi.  Here I am again.  The 2nd day in a row.

This month has started on quite a stressful note.  Yesterday, my mom called and left me a message.  I didn't think anything of it because it went like this: "Hi, Alice!  Checking in.  Call me back tonight."  To me that just meant mom was checking in and that I could wait a couple of hours to call her back.  Then I got home and my brother called.  Well, I knew something had to be up.  Erich told me that my dad was in the hospital and had a heart attack earlier in the day.  I finished with Erich and then called my mom.  My dad was doing well and was stable.  Today he was up and moving and will go home tomorrow.  I was up and down all day long.  Happenings like that make you realize how fragile life is.  Thank heavens he is doing better!  Whew.

Cool JROTC formation in the Gym.
 The hand off of command!

Other than that not a whole lot went on today.  School was good and there is only 17 more school days left, but who is counting?  One of my students was made Battalion Commander of our JROTC program.  I am pretty darn proud of her.  As always, there was a drawing during 7th hour of Health.  I love that class.  They are good to me.

No one game me suggestions for my list today.  I am hoping that you guys will take a moment and give some suggestions for the lists.  Today's list will be my wish list:

1.  World Peace.  Just kidding(not that world peace isn't a good thing).  I really wish I would be more organized and wouldn't have to spend half of my life cleaning up messes that would have taken thirty seconds to originally clean up.

2.  I wish I that I could be lazy and eat whatever I want and not gain weight.

The end.

Comments people...I am dying here.

Hey, I'm really sorry to hear about your dad, but I'm glad he's doing okay.

List ideas: Things you love about Ruben. Things you love about teaching. List of things you need to get done before the wedding (might work for the longer ones). List of favorite places to visit. List of best sandwich fixings. I'm sure I could come up with a bunch more, but I'll stop for now.
