The New House

We will close on our new house at the end of this week. It is a three bedroom condo located near state street half way up the hill to Orem. I qualified to get said condo through the "Good Neighbor Next Door Program," because I am a teacher. It is a HUD home and we are getting it for half of its value. It is a great opportunity and we feel lucky to be a part of it!

It has a little work to do. We will be painting all of it, reflooring all of it and replacing both toilets. This will all be done before we do any actual moving in. It will be a headache and pain, but well worth it in the end.

The condo is probably over twice the size of our current place, which makes us incredibly happy. It has three bedrooms(three times as many as the one we live in now), one and a half baths(1/2 more than now), four closets(twice what we have now), and it will have a dishwasher, and washer and dryer which we don't have now.

It is going to be a blast to move, but after friday we will be pretty busy for the next few weeks. It will be crazy and fun.

Thanks, Tina, for the topic for today's post.

It was a good day. We attended church and then headed up to the Bills for some chili. It was fun to visit, hold Miri, hang with the boys and have yummy food that I didn't have to cook. Great Sunday.

Jennifer, I saved your topic for tomorrow. And it is nice to hear from you!

And remember Peeps, I am opening up this blog to you this month. Get me to write about anything you want me to. Your wish is my command! Leave suggestions as comments or comment on the facebook post!

Cheers!

An attempt to catch Henry making hilarious faces while attempting to eat tomatoes. He was so embarrassed by us laughing. Isn't Josh cute?
